i love it, it says my last update was 31 weeks ago.

time sure does fly.

i cannot find my name tag. i can never find that thing.

organization is not my best friend.

went to florida from march 28th to april 1st. hung out with a friend, went to three wrestling shows, almost got hit by fireworks at wrestlemania. fun.

came back, worked seven days straight. got my paycheck today, saw i got a raise. later on a collections agent called me up and talked to me about my 900 dollar debt to hsbc.

...and capitol one keeps contacting me... along with barclays... and something else.

so i owe around 4500 altogether with everything included. awesome.

if i get a second job i'll just call everyone back and tell them to stick their deduction dicks into my payroll check and rape it for what it's worth. then i can relax for a while.

the birds are fighting over food and the dog got his balls cut off today. i guess everything is going well.

moving starts... it was supposed to start today but weather sucks.

work has been going well. nothing more to really say about that.

this is something thats been on my mind for a while now... the news and media constantly bring up the fact that the job market is slim and there aren't that many jobs out there. thats a load of bs. there are plenty of jobs out there, just not that many for people who want to do something with their "career". one of my roommates for example has a BS in psychology and he's currently an assistant manager working retail. sometimes in order to succeed you have to think outside the box.

hell most places these days just want to see that college degree so they know they're not hiring a complete idiot. even then they have to weed people out.

work sucks.

being broke sucks even more.

christmas this year was pretty nice. got a tree at the last second along with enough gifts to go around. seeing things in new perspectives is nice, its not always about gifts. i was able to spend time with kristyn and my mother's trial date was moved back.

so being a general manager is alright, got a decent pay raise and all that crap. just wondering how long this job will pan out before moving on to something else.

got approved for an apartment in wilmington. well larry did at least. my credit is shot. renter's history doesn't amount to shit, it didn't even make a difference. lesson learned.

time to make some resolutions for next year.

been busy at work cleaning up the store for its opening next week.

state of delaware sent me a nice little present today.

i start my general manager training tomorrow.

love it.

my boss is awesome.

figured i would mention that.

that has to be the reason why on my last check i was alright with working 92 hours in two weeks.

tonight i put in almost 12.

tired, cranky, still broke... its all good. birthday is on the 5th, turning 26.

it's about 7:22am right now.

i need to get ready for work.

not sure if i should have quit the job at this time. people keep reminding me how much i hated ups then i start remembering why i left in the first place.

my boss has been really good to me even though the new position doesn't pay as well as the other job did.

which is why i've been stressing out so much lately. i knew this was going to happen... just hope that it works out for me sooner than later.

three things from yesterday..

1. traded the neon for an 07 dodge caliber.
2. put in my two weeks notice at ups.
3. accepted an assistant manager position at subway.

interviewed for an MIT position at bob evans today. it would have been better if the guy didn't remind me of this person here...

i want someone to go into subway and order a double stacked mini sub.

these are the type of things i think about when it is late and half my brain is on sleep mode.

still waiting for one of these random jobs to get back to me. all i keep getting in my email is that scam bullshit promising commission if you cash them a phony check and send the difference. i know someone that almost fell for that too.

it's about 4:00am in the morning and i have to goto sleep soon. just got home from work about twenty minutes ago and going to see my mother around 10am. after that working from noon to 3pm.

fun times.

just realized something about the ups job. i could quit and just reapply at the newark facility if i was serious about trying to stay a little closer to home. that and the schedule would be different which means that i could *gasp*... go back to the open mics on a regular basis.

money right now is an issue and i don't know if it would be a good idea... goddamnit i miss performing.

not much else going on. took my mother's dogs in a few days ago and training them for the apartment has been... slow.

we might have to find another place for them because they're causing kristyn's allergies to act up plus they're just not adapting as good as we figured.

there were two things i wanted to do..

1.  go to the reading and read a couple pieces.  ended up reading one.
2.  watch wrestlemania.  wrestlemania sucked.

vacation is over.

let the mindfuck begin.

damn alarm clock didn't wake me up today and i ended up being an hour late to work.  my boss didn't hassle me about it though but he did send me home since someone else was coming in already to cover my shift.  we talked outside for a few minutes.  he let me know that the subway in new castle needs a general manager and if i'd be interested that he'd bring it up with his boss who owns that store also.  i told him to let his boss know that i'd consider it if he wanted to give me the position. 

vacation is in another week from ups.  i really need it right about now.

stopped over at the wilmington reading last night.  would have loved to see more people at the mic if the 8pm start time was actually 8 instead of 9. 

on another note, work was pretty good.  i made my numbers for the quarter so my boss wasn't being such a douchebag to me for once.
